Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily security operation on an assigned shift while ensuring that courteous and prompt service is provided by all employees.

- Partners and Coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees.
- Embraces role models and implements all elements of our customer service program including Spotlight on Service and Buzz Sessions, and tier prioritized service.
- Recommends and implements change to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.
- Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of Harrahs Entertainment Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment.
- Ensures employee satisfaction by providing two way communication, training, schedules, payroll, development plans and timely performance appraisals.
- Ensures key control policies are followed.
- Maintains and enforces policies and procedures to protect the company assets as well as guest (both internal and external) safety.
- Maintains an active liaison with the property specific Gaming Control Board Agents.
- Routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with Harrahs guests and other operational departments.
- Performs duties as assigned.
- Provides testimony in court when required.
- Adheres to all department/company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. 1-2 years Guest Safety experience or related casino experience required. Previous computer skills and above average verbal and written skills. Must have strong communication and guest service skills. Flexibility to work all shifts. Must be able to foster teamwork and a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks. Is able to work in smoke filled environment and able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player.
