JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supporting the strategy, marketing, management, and profitability of live entertainment for properties outside of the Vegas market (400+ bookings annually for 1250 performances across 29 venues). They will communicate directly with all stakeholders, including property General Managers, various food and beverage management and additional stakeholders as required. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Support the overall entertainment strategy for all properties outside of Las Vegas
  • Process all weekly reporting and sales forecasting for regional properties
  • Coordinate with VP on strategic evaluation of programming, creation of pro forma views of opportunities, and development of overall business plans for all properties
  • Ownership of some strategic relationships with outside promoters as well as with several regional properties
  • Reporting maintenance to support business evaluation through database creation
  • Liaison for pre-confirmation and advance issues concerning production elements
  • Evaluation and refinement of individual show marketing plans, including management of yielding opportunities between casino and retail inventory management
  • Based on strategic plan, support individual booking and programming decisions for each venue
  • Liaison with property marketing lead on supporting best practices in operations and execution.
  • Coordinate regularly with ESS counterparts to share best practices in booking, marketing, venue operations, and additional revenue opportunities.
  • Work on future venue and existing development opportunities in support of a broader entertainment strategy for the corporation.
  • Growth into more strategic programming across regional markets will allow for development of position after initial relaunch of entertainment.
  • Support the annual budgeting for all property entertainment outside of Las Vegas
  • Liaison with third-party entertainment buyers
  • Conduct research on industry trends and opportunities as well as on key competitive properties and venues

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Degree in business or performing arts or practical experience. 
  • Minimum 7 years experience in entertainment, including: 1) knowledge of entertainment venue operations, 2) budgeting and negotiation 3) knowledge of entertainment industry/trends, 4) excellent written and oral communication skills, 5) ability to manage multiple projects with little supervision. 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in booking or managing a live entertainment venue or related practical experience. 
  • Computer literate (able to use Microsoft Word and Excel). 
  • Accurate and detail oriented. 
  • Knowledge of accounting functions. 
  • Management, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills required.
