Immediately addresses service breakdowns and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events. Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them. Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy. Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback. Uses EOS data to improve the workplace, listens and responds to employees, recognizes and rewards individual and team performance. Consistently follows company policies, procedures and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, and completes performance reviews timely. Responsible for the preparation of food and the activities of food preparation workers during assigned shift. Assures that food presentation is timely and meets quality standards assisting cooks as needed. Communicated with department heads and restaurant management to appropriately plan for business volume. Assists superiors with the coordination of menus recommending cooking techniques. Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment. Responsible for communicating to appropriate department any hazardous situations that may potentially affect the health of employees or patrons. Follows progressive disciplinary program and coordinates with the Labor Relations Department to handle employee problems. Responsible for the training and supervision of food prep staff and assists in the preparation of food. Ensures that proper sanitation procedures are followed. Oversees the maintenance of the pantry area in an organized manner. Assists in the control of food & labor costs by eliminating waste and over production. Assures quality production levels are maintained. Expresses knowledge of union contract and company policies and procedures. | |
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: | |
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in all facets of food preparation. | |

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Starting Rate $53,000-$65,000
